I recently looked and found my Build Sheet ( upper part of back seat ) in decent condition. What does SPECIAL HANDLING on the bottom of the sheet mean ? I've personally never seen it and Google shows a few different answers. I'll ask the experts here ;) I'll post a pic when I can get to a computer, this phone sucks !

I would like to know this too, i have a fender tag i pulled off a cop car that has ''special handling'' on it and nothing else.
I think it was a '71 Fury 4 door.

It depends on the car, what are the Y codes on the sheet?

It appears to be a Special Order option that includes upgraded shocks, adds the front anti sway bar, maybe different bushings ?, and 892~893 torsion bars. sometimes adds a rear anti sway bar too. view bottom left

Nothing to do with the suspension parts.

Top at right, is this Y24 ?

Top middle, do these six digits begin with the letter 'T' ?

It was the handling of the car during build, prep, and shipment.

Odd or contracted out options, special paint, dealer demo, exec car, things like that IIRC.

Y28 / Q = Public Relations

So, it may have been used at a major car show, for advertising photo ops or something similar.

Usually once the intended use was over these cars were sold at a nearby dealership.
