Eventually when my tti headers aren't pretty & don't remind me of now being broke I'll probably do that 3 peice deal and get some or make some sweet merge collectors Depends on how much a pita it is how they are.

I made my own headers out of s/s. Bought the ready made bends & cut to shape. One of the reasons I made my own is because I found brand name headers hung too low. Another reason, I didn't want them to rust out....
No need to get the primary pipes equal length, does nothing of value. See David Vizard's exh systems video. Sec [ collector ] diam & lengthy is important. I had a spare block & trans which I used as a template to make the headers. Been on the car 20+ yrs.

ACP makes a inner and outer header flange header kit for pretty much any Mopar head. I've got 2" on my AMX with a SBM LA head. Mopar parts are not harder or more expensive.
These pictures show a W2 gasket placed on a Trick Flow small block head. Very close fit. This will not impact performance. You could also do a little grinding on the adapter to get it closer if desired. This gives you an idea of how the W2 adapter plates will fit the Trick Flow heads if you go this route.

great timing. Lol I was looking up weld up header kits and came across this company. What do you all think about them? Has anybody user them before? This was a list I was playing around with. So I haven't bought anything yet.

Look at it this way. If you can do the work and welding, it is very close in price to a raw mild steel header from TTI in 1 7/8" tubes. I have had the same TTI steel headers, that were originally chrome plated on the outside, on my car since the early 2000s. A huge pile of rust came out of both sides last time I took them off. I really want stainless next time.

High or low wise. If you think it’s high you should see what I paid for just my header flanges and collectors for my B1 build.
I thought it was high but I just tried to price some 304 J-bends and it seems I was way off.
Indeed, when J bends are $50-75 each in stainless 304, adds up quickly.
Measure your twice, cut once.
This hurt then I had to pay my buddy to build them for a very tight spot. Then I drove them and 4 other sets to Ohio to have them coated. I sure hated to take the cut off wheel and the grinder to them but it sure makes maintenance easier.

You really need to get on that car one of these off years.
If I could continue to work in the shop like I did on heads for the last four months that car would be done and running in a month.

Those guys are FANTASTIC to deal with. American 304 Stainless (if you order 304 stainless they sell mild steel and inconel as well) nice thick flanges good stuff all around. I bought a weld up kit from stahl. a few extra bends as well. The flange was separate. You can use coat hangers or straight bendable steel . tack each piece as you go. Tig and jet hot coated. best way I found to get what I needed.

I can remove these headers so easy… they were patterned after the Hedman Hustlers from our iron head mill. I admire the skills it takes to build these. I can’t imagine how long it would take me to tackle a project like this. When you live 50 miles from one of the best in the biz it’s a no brainer. Dropped the car off at 7am…. was done by 3.
Nice, very nice. What did that set you back?
