I put a 426 hemi in my '68 dart and had to drop the drag link to clear the 2 1/4"x4" headers. Now the car bump steers. I need to drop the outer tie rods 1" or so. I thought about replacing the outer ball joint with a heim joint and putting a 1"spacer between the steering arm on the hub and heim joint. Problem is I can't seem to find a 9/16 heim joint, they jump from 1/2" to 5/8" I really don't want to heat and bend the steering arms on the hubs. Any body dealt with this problem? I sure could use some ideas. Also I cant afford new tti headers right now, that would be my best choice. Thanks.
