So, my '74 Dart Sports bumper sticks way out, I looked around and I think there is a way for me to remove the bumper filler and just pull the bumper closer up against the car, but then would the bumper be sticking out on the sides?
What mine looks like now with bumper filler,

What I would like it to look like,

(sorry for lame pic)

If anyone know I would love to hear...

Also, my sail panels are cracked, does anyone know where I could buy replacement ones? I am having trouble locating any...

If it has the shock type bumper mounts then you can bring it in more flush.

If you look under the car at your B mounts and they are big round cilenders. You have the shock type mount. First drill a hole into the shock so the fluid in side can drane out. Then you should be able to push the bumper in where you want it. After that weld the hles you drilled back up to lock the bumper back in place.

I have seen this done before and I think it looks a lot better that way and you can also toss the junky looking plastic bumper filler panel. And best of all it does not cost any thing to do. Good luck.

Ok, drill through cylinders, or get some 70-27 bumpers and brackets?
Sounds good! Buddy of mine has got a 70 Duster with lots of extra parts!

Does anyone know where I can buy sail panels online???
