Wow, I remember looking at that Dart. What a nice car. Charger exhaust and all. 9700 - 5500 = 4,200 for that car? He is an Idiot, you already took a loss. That car is easily a $9,700 car. I have more than that in paint on my 68. Don't waste another minute fretting about him. Reminds me of the insurance adjusters nickle and diming me when my 64 was totaled. Still makes me mad.

Robert...Anyone one can tell just from your posts that misleading or cheating a person on the sale of a 60-year-old car isn't even a remote consideration on your part...except maybe the toilet stain thread! LOL But that just shows you are operating at a 100 percent level of disclosure and practical... Be done with the second guessing of your ad and the sale.

this was an Ebay item from a dealer in Los Angeles. it was pricey & no bids till I stepped in. I gotta just let it go. EDIT never did resolve the toilet issue (so far). it is a small efficiency apt so I gotta be careful of potential fumes when I pick a chemical but I was amazed at all the feedback I got on it!

Did you try the dish yellow sponge with green scrub pad side and put a good bit of Bar Keepers Friend power. Just damp the sponge 1st. I just had to clean a tub and crapper tgat had a build up of hard water stain. Cleaned it up to like new.
As far as the car I think he is setting you up. You put a price, he agreed. You put lots of pictures, and he should have done a personal inspection. Or paid someone too. And anyone who thinks a 60 year old car has zero wrong is crazy. There is always something. Even prep guys at new cat dealers find things.

@Rapid Robert Walmart or any store like it.

he wants to take me to court. If I owe him I will pay him & that is my issue, do I owe the guy or not
If you buy a car sight unseen you really have absolutely nothing to complain about, but the real clincher in my view is that he didn't pay your asking price... you came down $3,300. I can't see any court giving the guy anything - the car is almost 60 years old and you didn't tell him it was a complete restoration to as new condition...

Sorry but everything about that transaction based on the buyer’s behavior smells like fraud to me. Have you been paid Robert and has the money fully cleared?

Car sure does look nice. I don’t see where he supplied any under car pics. Or did I miss them. He was asked for them. I myself would have wanted to see some. Looks like he forgot? to post them. That’s why u have to go there and see the car in person or have a member or a Company check it out. Kim

@idahoboy was online yesterday. Why don't we get his side of this story and try to come to a resolution?

I've read the ad and don't personally see anything misleading by RR. Sounds like an 80 year old man who suddenly got buyer's remorse. It happens.
