What sort of application do they have towards an A body? I can get a set of factory originals.

What are they worth? Complete set as far as I know, but not sure what diff thier bolted to,as I'd have to go look.

Are they worth grabbing and or using?

What are you trying to ask here? It's really confusing.

Basicall want to know if cbody rear disc's could be adapted to an A body..

Could have gotten rear disk brakes on C-bodies:scratch:

Pretty sure they were know for being a big pain in the *** and not worth the efforts. Thats what I have read about them on line and in the Mopar mags. i would think that the exploder conversion is the new/cheap way to go unless your going all after market.

Thanks JR.It was really idle curiosity asking. Probably weigh a ton anyways, lol!

I can get some pics in the spring ,maybe somebody will want em. Thier pretty rare I think. Never seen a set before.

I know this is kinda old already but... there were never factory disk brakes on the rear of any C-body. They are probably Imperial brakes, which are a totally different animal. The Imperials were largely 5X5 bolt pattern as well.

Got my first C-body in 1998 and haven't been without one since. I've owned 7 or 8 of 'em. :glasses2:

Yes you could get them on a c-body, and they were only for 74-75 or 75-76, cant remeber for sure and they were on the 8 3/4.

5.7 is correct, i pulled a 440 out of a 74 or 75 C and was shocked when i seen the rear disc, as a young 20yo

 Hmmmm..... I'll be looking into this! I could have sworn that they were only on Imperials. I've also heard that they are a PITA like JR mentioned, as well as the Explorer disks being the 'easy' way to go.

I guess it pays to be told you're wrong sometimes, if not only for the reason of going out to verify the answer and expanding your knowledge. :thumrigh:

I'll have to go and actually look at this car when spring thaw allows. It's in a friends field out here. He told me a bout it over the phone.

Really hard to find those 7029 brake pads for those 74 - 75 Imperial's only deal...

Pretty sure they are 74-75 Imperials only but the search will go on. There could have been some special orders, but they certainly never came standard on C-bodies.

Most Mopar people already know and not to split hairs but, Imperials are also not C-bodies. [-X :happy8:

Anyway, if you want rear disks, I think what we can all agree on is that using Imperial (Or C-body if they exist) rear disks wouldn't be the best way to do it.
