For a long time I have put off changing the burned out bulb in one of the two C post interior lights in our '69 FB Barracuda because I am afraid of breaking the plastic cover. Has anyone on the forum had first hand experience with removing the cover? It is slightly loose and can be rotated to and fro just a bit but not in and out.

The chrome bezel actually twists on like a 1/4 turn. Its been a while since I removed mine so I can't remember which way to twist it to remove it.

Thanks to CUUDAK and Rocky JS for your input. I got er done today. Actually on our '69 it was 3/8" turn to counter clockwise and pry it loose for removal (the tabs are located at 3:00 and 9:00 on the panel). It was a good thing the bezel is metal cause if it was plastic it might have cracked using the force that I had to twist it off. I don't think it was ever removed before and the bulb looked like the original GE 211-1. I went down to our local NAPA and got the modern interchange replacement, a 211-2 for $2.39.
