Cable shift 904 for a V8

This will be hard one to find. It is probably only going to come from a 273 powered car. '64 & '65 would be the only years I believe. I think '66 is the first year that had the shift shaft style trannys. The Big block ones were all 727's and I believe even the Poly motor only used 727's. At least that is all I have seen behind Polys.

they ar out there but getting hard to find.. not sure if you have push button or not but these guys convert the push buttons so you can use a newer style trans..
 
I love my cable shift car. Yes, hard tranny to find. I think I know where there is one but I'm going to get it as a spare.

I'm thinking it will be easier fit headers on a cable shift car.
