Calgary Members in CDRA?

Hey guys from Calgary, How many of you are in the CDRA (Calgary Drag Racing assiciation)?

I think it will be the only way we will be able to get on the track this year?

I have never had my car on the track, and was looking forward to getting out there this year, but it appears "Race City" is on its last legs.

Yes Robb, she's toast. Looks like I'll be racing on 6th Ave. down town just like the old days. We should all line up to do burnouts in front of city hall or better yet in front of Bronco's home.

I think I am going to join, so I can get a few shots at running down a track. I think membership is $100, and then you pay for each event you enter.

Hope to see some other FABO guys out there!

I assume Leo is a member, but he has not piped up yet.

I heard that Tailwind Raceway in Ft. Macleod is starting up in the summer sometime..... It'll be NHRA sanctioned as well.
It's the ***** that Race City is closing down, and sanctioning a burnout contest in front of city hall would be a great idea.:-D
