I'm rebuilding my 1973 Dart Swinger & want to rebuild my caliper's. According to the book I have a sliding caliper but that will not help when ordering parts in the US.
What sort of caliper have I got?
How big will the piston be & is there a rebuild kit for them?

I can order new calipers from Rock Auto but the freight is on the high side so a kit will be the best option.

Can anyone help

The pistons are 2.6" in diameter on 73-75 A-bodies. Year One has rebuild kits for US$15.95 (seal and a dust boot) and the pistons for US$35.95. That is quite a bit more than the $24 for a rebuilt caliper from RockAuto.

Thanks for that I can now order the right one.
Do you know the part number for the pads?

Part number for pads is going to vary based on what you get and whom you get them from. I like Raybestos PG series pads and they are available for 73-75 A-body disk brakes.
