I have a buddy that has a new crower 271 cam with 222/234 with 485/495 lift and 112 lobe and wants to sell me for good deal.I have post about the build in small block tech if you need to check, but I have comp 280/480 cam with 230@50 on 110 but will it be better to change to crower or run the comp!Heads I'm buying are just the aerohead 452/906 heads for $599 but going to pocket port them and have 2.14/1.81 valve or should i keep 2.08/1.74 valve? Thanks for opinions!Got to get this situated as income tax will be here in week or so!

Seen that grind run in a basic 383 Magnum Coronet( the Crower).Pulls hard to 5500+ ,with a mild idle. The 280 comp, rumpity idle ,with more midrange torque. On the heads, depends if you will use them ,in a more aggressive build.I

On my next build I going with either Eddy heads or stealth heads! The other 383 block is either gonna get 431 stroker or 496 stroker from 440 source unless I decide to buy 440 block and just build stock stroke! This motor now is staying together!I gonna use 2500 stall instead of 3000 and keeping 3.55 gear! The comp 280h cam was gave to me but i feel there is better and i gonna use stock rockers!
