I picked this up at a swap meet last weekend and would like to figure out what it is so I can get parts for it. There are no markings anywhere on this. The advance mechanism is bizarre- it is contained on the bottom of the unit, separate from the electronics which are on the top side, and when bolted together the "coupler" drives the rotor. Both top and bottom shafts are supported with sealed bearings. I think its a pretty cool unit, regardless of whether I can find a reluctor for it. Anyone know anything about this, or better yet- how the advance is adjusted? Thanks!!

Yeah had one years ago its an accel not sure what year they made them but know why they stopped lol!!

Prestolite now owns Accel, and Mallory. They all made distributors. I think they are still sorting out products and brand to sell them under. I noticed that, when buying rotor trigger wheel for a Mallory Uni-lite.

Thanks everyone. I was able to find a user manual on a Ford site for what seems to be this unit. Accel Billetech Magnetic Race Impulse distributor. They did mention it was vintage, so again- thanks for the info!
