Can you use a complete front suspension out of a Volare or Aspen and put it in an A-body?
I haven't heard of anyone doing this but i am wondering if it can be done.
With the torsion bars in front of the cross-member there would be all kind of room for exhaust! :D
And there would also be the benifit of spool motor mounts and disc-brakes.
So anybody ever try this? Can it be done?

i belive that the tor.bars are diff. therefore they use a much diff set up,but dont take my work on it!

I don't think it can be done, at least I've never heard of anyone attempting it. You'd have to take a bunch of measurements to see if it even bolt in. If it doesn't work out, keep the spindles :D

One of the worst features of the Aspen/Volares was the transverse torsion bar setup. It would require major surgery to get it in there and the free engine space would come at the cost of that not up to snuff setup.
