Can you guys give me the LOW DOWN between the GM/Chevy PU & Dodge

Like as rock plunging to the bottom of s lake. That Dodge is twice the truck those others are. Maybe more. And talking about price and availability for parts, the 72-93 Dodges are just as cheap and plentiful as the Chevy junk. John, you KNOW how much I like other makes and am always talking about how they all made good stuff, but in this case the Dodge really is the best one. 318 overdrive. Nuff said.
Dodge trucks are not twice the truck than the others, but I will put in second place.

My experience with fleet vehicles in rough ( sometimes very rough service, with roads closed, VDOT salt shakers stuck in the ditch with power lines wrapped up in the axles, emergency power company and us only people out in it) the early 90’s Dodge 3/4 tons never failed to carry us through with no drama whatsoever. Could have used some of our escapades off-roading to remote pump station and tank sites for a commercial. Well the early 90’s f-350 460-5speed with the whirlpool in the fuel tank was a close second. The Dodges had the fewest mechanical issues of any of our vehicles. I still believe the only thing tougher is a deuce and a half.

I know 2 big outfits that sell cowboy trailer pulling trucks all 3 brands (NO not any Nissnas, even with Cummins). They will tell anyone the Dodge Cummins are the best truck, value for $, cost, resale, longevity. They will have some that will only buy the Chevy, some ay ride a little better, some will buy just the Ford, they love the PowerStroke. We are talking 1 ton . and up Diesel pickups here.
