When my car is finished I was planning on putting antique plates on it as it wont be a daily driver and it will keep the insurance down I think but Im wondering, in Nova Scotia, does the car need to be inspected every 2 years or just one time and never again or how does it work exactly?

my antique plates run me about 16 bucks annually to register and upon initial registration the vehicle needed to qualify ( be 30 years or older) and needed a vehicle mechanical fitness form to be completed by a licensed mechanic, which makes it exempt from annual inspections.

you also are not supposed to use it for business or family related use, and you also need another registered vehicle in your name
