any one using the Avital 3300 2 way car alarm?

I am at the point of putting the 68 Barracuda back together where the electrical system is up next. If there is another recommendation I'll look into that, but I do like the 2 way feature.

Alarm systems are great. But it all depends on the situation.
Most passers by dont take notice when one starts squawking.
I prefer the horn chirp over the siren any day.
And an adjustable motion sensor is a must. Some are way too sensitive.
Best do a search and check the reviews on the alarms you are interested in.

I take it you are adding power door locks too?
There are differences in those as well,used to be a heavy duty version,its been a while and dont
Know if they are still available.

I suggest you stay away from any that use a proximity sensor for the remote fob, they tend to unlock/lock if you are within 100 feet and the remotes eat batteries like cookie monster with a bag of chocolate chip.
