[WANTED] Car bellhousing for A833 OD / slant 6

Looking for a car (NOT truck) bellhousing to mount an A833 OD transmission to a slant 6 in a '65 Dart. Bearing retainer opening will be about 5 1/8", and it will have a tab mount for the clutch fork, NOT a ball mount. I was told that the casting number is 3743643.

I'm pretty sure all the '75-up slant 6 bell housings are the ball type. Also, the pickup and van use the same bell housing if they have the 10" clutch. You'll most likely have to modify the Z bar bracket on the bell housing to get it to line up with the one on the '65 frame rail.

A/F Body 4 speed a833OD / 3 Speed / Bells Use the "L" Blade Pivot, as the poster is asking for.

However if you are good with a milling bit in a Drill press you can find the readily available on CL and FBM Truck styler Bell Housing and Mill off the Ball stud pivot, drill and tap for your Flat / "L" shaped pivot and go from there. Like this:

You'll still need to futz around with the Ball Stud Mount for the Clutch Pivot and torque shaft, especially if installing this OD Bell into an Early A Body.
