hi mopar ppl, dart drivers, slant 6-ers and everyone else.

i am born and raised in NYC and have had a very limited window into car culture throughout my life, but nonetheless i knew i was a car junky at a very young age.

a few years ago i lived out a fantasy and bought a vintage car. (76 dart)

and it has been a labor of love ever since.

i am no mechanic, so i learn as i go, and so little by little i am becoming one with the dart.

in this last year however, there are problems i am running into that require more wisdom and guidance and for this reason i join with the hope of getting the opinions of people who share the passion.

i look forward to posting here and to learn from the best

Then again, GTS76 could be the model on the car!?!?!

haha. i photoshopped the car...but not the model.

the car is a blue color. i think its maybe B6 in the chrysler color chart.

GTS are my actual initials. it is not a GTS dart. i wish.

its a swinger baby, yeah!

Welcome to the madness. That's a cool ride. The Dart, I mean. :D

I grew up in NY, and some of the first street racing I did was on Webster Ave in the Bronx, near Fordham University. My buddy and I drove around in his '68 Coronet, and we got laughed at a lot because it was a 4-door. It was a total Q-ship with hubcaps and a 440 under the hood, though. It did great burnouts.

The car culture in NYC at that time was pretty strong. Maybe things have changed.
 
I feel the pain too. Lots of bike riders and Prius roller around here. Welcome.
