The pick GM and Ford thing seem to be prevalent all over the place. As for picking brand new, please, that car isn't old enough to have anything done to it other than to be polished with a diaper...leave it out of the running against guys who have had to bring a car back to life. There was a boycott here a while ago by some Mopar guys for one show. Twenty classes, all GM or Ford, even John Deere, but no Mopar classes.
As for the original topic the prima donnas seem to forget that the other guy has just as much work into the car as they do. We can appreciate the idea that "no door dings" are the rule of the day. Afterall, it's a car show, not the WalMart parking lot.
