Car Show Tampa, Florida May 12

-
Cool, thanks.

I was the unsociable guy with the hot wife that only got out of the purple PT cruiser long enough to snap some pics.

I was surprised that the turnout was 50-60% Mopar. That's definately NOT NORMAL.
...and most were cars I hadn't seen before.
.....also surprised there were no for sale signs.

Nice photos YY1 your correct in that many mopars but the show was in the Brat Pack's [tampa area mopar club] back yard those fellas have some fine mopars.

Yep 2,4,5,7 are our cars the Orange 1968 Charger is me and my fathers he has had it for 20 years with the same paint. The yellow 1969 Roadrunner is a 426 hemi 4spd car the paint is 35 years old. The Blue 1974 Duster is a 360 4 spd. The Silver 1969 Roadrunner is a 440 6 pack with column shift 727 he has owned since highschool.

Yep seen ya'll at Merit's party and spoke with one of your members at garage one last weekend [can't remember his name]. Ya'll have some extrodinary cars. Got seperated from my group upon entering Merit's i was with the orange [red] 69 charger r/t and the purple dart and the goldish 70 satty,68 yellowish gtx that was along the north side of the grounds.

He was driving his daily a white shelby? mustang he said he was just checking out the rise and shine cruise in before he brought out his ? i can't remember what [i'm sorry i stink at names i link the face to the car most times]. Super nice guy i enjoyed talking to him and looking forward to the next cruise in there to see his car.

That is Steve he owns the silver roadrunner in the pics and also has a silver aar cuda and many others. When and where is the carshow you are talkin about

Go to my facebook page [ame]http://www.facebook.com/pages/Pinellas-County-Classics-and-Hotrods/170446669751696[/ame]
There is a post to most of the upcoming cruise ins in the tampa bay area and others can add to it for the tampa area. The one i'm speaking of is called Rise and Shine at Garage One Detail shop on Idelwild off Hoover Blvd.

Ill see if i cant get out there one day.have you gone to the show in plant city every 3rd sat of the month this sat is the mopar show. it is from 4-8ish in the center of historic plant city.

No i have not as of yet, don't drive my cuda that far at 46 years old she ain't up to a task that far i don't think [motor/trans has never been rebuilt] and i can't afford to fix it if it were to break. I try to stay local area within 40 miles of the Redneck Garage. Some day we'll get'er fixed up so we can venture out futher without the fear of coming home on'a hook. I missed Garlets,Old Town and now this mopar event oh well there will be others.

It should make it my dads charger makes it to garlitts 2 hours there and 2 hours back with no probs and it has been together for 20+ years
Check in my gallery for the charger.

Thats a nice car but he rebuilt it back then mine has never been rebuilt just timing chain replaced. I would like to attend a lot of stuff but i'm having to keep my car stuff in my budget, my toys are a luxury gotta take care of the important bills first then play with whats left [which ain't much] these days.

No problem i have plenty of fun just in moderation,i'm helping my son build a car and that takes up the time i used to use for going to shows,i still go to a local cruise in on wed. nites and fri./sat. nite. No more pay shows trophys don't do anything for me and my car can't compete with most everything that goes there even if i wanted a trophy so why pay, i just go to the free events and support them guys and have fun. Some day my car may get all slickered up but i still have a very unique vehicle in my area and enjoy showing it off in it's present state [which ain't bad mind you for 46 y.o.] it just ain't all swoopy and shiny. I'm sure we'll bump into one another some where.
