A few years ago there was a hemi Dart at the Albion ,Pa mopar show and everyone was standing around waiting for him to start it up and wen he did crank it up I was looking at another car a and it surprised me open headers when the noise and the ground shook a nice suprise

1. The brand new In Violet/white strobe stripe 1971 Road Runner I saw when I was 9 walking home with Grandma from the sewing store. I'll never forget that Road Runner head in the grill.

2. We lived about 2 miles out of town when I was growing up. The summer of 1975 I was 12. I used to tow an old lawnmower that my dad helped me get running into town with my bike to mow lawns for extra money. Next door to one of my regular customers was a guy in his 20's with a silver '68 Super Bee with "Bad Company" painted between the taillights. *** high with wide slots on the back. It had a 426 max wedge with a crossram, velocity stacks and no hood. He was always in the driveway working on it and drinking beer, I don't know that he had real job. He would let me hang around and watch between my lawn mowing jobs. One day he told me that it was running good and he was going to take it for a test drive and asked if I wanted to go. I'm pretty sure that the car was sideways more than straight on that ride.

3. The Steve Lisk Hemi Challenger. I still have the old Hot Rod article that I drooled over in the Junior High library.

Saw an Adam Sandler movie yesterday where that ex Sports Illustrated model Brooklyn Decker plays "Palmer Dodge", which reminded me of seeing the start of the Indy 500, sitting across from the pits, when Eldon Palmer hit the photographer stands at the head of the pits. Someone had moved his braking point sign and he couldn't get stopped in time.
