thanks bob i plan to try it out i hope that it does,im looking for a little more out ofthis if i can get it .....

your setup is almost like mine, i have a +.030 360 with a torquer II and a 750 race holley with the choke milled off. i bet the 950 will be quicker.

Im running a non-stroked 340 with a more aggressive solid roller cam. I use a Holley 800dp, back in the day my 1/8th mile times were in the 7.20s.

The 950 may be a bit on the large side.

How about a happy medium go with a 850..i run a Quickfuel 850 on my 416 going low 1.40's in the 60' and 6.90's in the 1/8th..on my 360 it turns low 1.60's and 7.50 in the 1/8th..

30+ years ago I was running a very stout, solid lifter cammed 340 in a '69 Dart. My Holley 750dp couldn't keep it fed at full throttle. Went to a 850dp and it was happy as could be.
Sorry, don't remember all the specifics from back then.

My truck pulls harder on top end with the 950hp than it does with the 750.

360
ported eddies
comp xs274s
kb107
air gap

Look at the venturi size of the 950 vs the 750, they are the same. The throttle plates make the difference from the 750 with 1 11/16 vs 950 with 1 3/4.

The 950 will be as responsive as the 750 and has the potential to allow more volume up top.

The fuel curve on the 950 is way better too...

so are most saying stay with the 950 and tune it????i have a vac. gauge someone exp. to how to hook it up and what to look for, this should help me tune the carb right....
