Howdy Mopar buds. I'm putting the throttle cable/kickdown rod on my 65' Barracuda with a 360 LA/Magnum Hybrid, Eddy Air-Gap Manifold, and a 4 BBL QFT holley style carb. I ordered all the different Chrysler carb linkage kits I could find to get the cable to line up correctly. I'm wondering if you guys with a similar setup could post pics of the linkage area of your carbs so I can get a heads up before I put it all together. Thanks in advance for the help! :-D :prayer:
 
 
Also, mancini racing also sells 4 bbl throttle brackets that bolt to the intake near the distributor. I'm not sure what years that they fit, may work with your application.
 
my slant 6 had a rod
my v8 car had a cable

I replaced it with a LOKAR

Maybe on the 65 or 66 models.

I'm not sure where I put my 66 commando engine at this time, and not sure if it still had linkages like my 67 commando did...

That is not a 65 - totally different- I'd bet 67 or later-

That was 67 like I said. I wasn't sure if 65 was the same.


I have a 65 or 66 commando engine somewhare, but I don't think that the linkages came on it...


I wasn't sure if they were the same, but posted just in case.

The later 67 style linkages will probably work and just bolt on. Mancini Racing sells the bracket for the throttle bracket for the intake new repro. Then find someone on here selling the 3 piece bell crank linkages.


You could probably get the whole linkage kit (including the throttle brackets) from A & A Transmission, but they are expensive.
