Well, it finally arrived today, a reproduction carb tag for my '68 cuda 383, 4-sp. Original carb #4426s. It's been two months, ordered on Sept. 6, 2020. The only one I found still doing business was a fellow on Ebay out of Oregon. Before you contemplate doing this, I recommend you do your research on carb numbers and dating. The ordering process going through Ebay additionally complicates matters. I had to have one. It is beautiful! I am going to sleep with it tonite. Dates stamped on the carb are different than dates on the tag, they are calculated differently. If you want to be "correct", then you need to understand the dates on your carb in relation to the build date of your car. Here is a pic of my new tag. The carb= E8 4426s. E8=May 1968. Tag date= 1298. 129= 129th day of the year (May 9th), 8= 1968.
