Hot, hot, hot. Friday was brutal, Saturday was even worse. Foot traffic was affected by the heat. I also saw vendors leaving mid-day.
Lots of really nice cars. Met several FABO members; great people!
The black '63 Valiant is mine. Drove from New Jersey, car ran very well despite the heat.
One observation; the INTERNET has really made an impact on the prices at Carlisle. Vendors know they can take their merchandise home and put in on EBay. In the old days, Carlisle was their main option.
Reproduction part prices are out of control, I wanted a 2 post side mirror for the Valiant, the going price was $125! BEA parts wanted $145.

Saw your car there, it's very nice in person. Heat was terrible, maybe next year they can have it in April.

thanks for sharing the pic.s......I thought about going, but then saw the weather report, that said it was gonna be hot, and I decieded to stay home. I just can't take the heat like I used to. LOL!
