Carter AVS...where does this line go?

Simple question for you guys Im sure but where does this line go? To the charcoal canister? Its a 4966 Carter.

I saw that pic in my searching but wasn't positive, thanks mguner.

There is also a vent of some sort coming out the back of the carb, any idea what that is for?
 
If it just pokes into the air horn area it is a draw port for a choke stove. Slightly larger than the vacuum pipes on the front, smooth and coming down at an angle? That carb would have a tube for external bowl vent on the passenger side if it were for a carbon canister version. That hump with the flat on the side is where that tube would be.
 
Plug the one on the back.
Run power brake line to the manifold.
PVC on the other line up front.

This.... Unless you are doing a full restoration,( that carb number,runs to early 70's big block Mopars, BTW..)possibly a vacuum controlled A.C/ air conditioning port. Just a guess,on my part. Hopefully ,others chime in...
 
That rear port can be used for power brakes if your manifold has no provision for it.... it's straight manifold vacuum anyway.
 
I think that is the one that went to the thermactic air cleaner valve. Actually I am sure of it.
