CD Box worth it or not?

I am running a Mallory Magnetic Breakerless with Coil/ Ballast Resistor. Would it be worth installing the CD box? I have been told that it would just give me one more point of failure in the system and the gains wouldn't be worth it.

I am currently running over 550HP and want it to run as consistent as possible on the street. Any advice would be appreciated?

At that HP level, I would say yes.

Me too, that much power is going to definitely see a benefit. I'm surprised the ignition you're using now can keep up.
