i want a samsung galaxy 3or 4 phone
straight talk will let u bring your own phone
has anybody done this any infoe

If you can get that on a monthly plan, helps a lot. Most of the big companies have faster services, they used to want a 2 year minimum contract. I went monthly, with Virgin Mobile (in has it's drawbacks). Shop around,. Just like auto parts, makes a difference.

just find out which service is better in your area. You can get different phones from Straight Talk that run off of either Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and maybe others. The phones that run off CDMA are the ones that run off Verizon and provide the same service but about half the price. I just made the swap myself after several years with Verizon. I use a flip phone because of my work. I tried a smart phone but it didn't work for me running doziers and hoes. My gf got a Samsung smart phone from straight talk. Seems to be working out fine. Hope this helps,Joe

I had Verizon for years, which works best in my area. My bill had been gradually creeping up to where it was about $75 per month-and I had a limited amount of minutes, no texting, no data.

I finally switched to Straight Talk's $45/mo plan (plus tax). I needed a new phone so I bought the cheapest one which was about $50. I got the one that used Verizon's towers so I have exactly the same service and coverage as I had before, just costs me less. I was even able to keep my old phone number, which was nice. Months roll around pretty fast so I buy a 3 month card each time.

The only thing I would do different is get a better phone. When I got this one I didn't text so I wasn't worried that it had tiny buttons and a small screen. Now that I'm getting more modern and have started texting some I find the tiny buttons are hard to navigate. And the small screen doesn't work well if you are browsing the internet.

I've had this cheap phone going on a year and a half and I'll have to say it's tough and I haven't had any trouble with it. If and when I break it I will get something better.

I've had Straight Talk for a couple years now, after being with Verizon, the difference is you enroll yourself on their website. It helps to have another phone handy in case you need to a customer service rep to help you. And they speak with heavy accents, not a big deal, the small inconveniences are worth the savings. The $45 unlimited plan is worth it, no worrying about going over your minutes.

Well ya talked me into it. Just got off their website, ordered a cheap LG phone for 40 bucks and the 1000 minutes plan. 85 bux to buy and about 40 every thirty days. Just about half what Verizon is raping me for.

And you get to keep your number

I've had this number since about 1996 when I went to work for Motorola / Airtouch
