Change steering column 1966 barracuda

Having a hard time get splines to line up from coupling to power steering box. finally got a column for a floor shifted car took out column shift. Just not seeming to be able to slide it on with steering wheel straight and wheels straight. Thought it was going to be easier

Is master spline the blank spline on steering box shaft.

Thanks going to check it out in a little while. Is there a similar spot on steering coupling spline? I didn’t see one going to check it out again.

I have the master spline at 12 o’clock, but if I line up the steering shaft with the mark or the hole in the shaft with it the steering wheel is about 90 degrees out? I don’t think this column was ever apart.
The wheels are straight with master spline at 12 I don’t understand why steering wheel will be off?

It definitely can only go on one way? It won’t go on if it is not lined up with master spline and marks or hole on shaft?
