I was running P265/50R15 tires that had a 10.43 aspect ratio and an OD of 25.43. I went to a P295/50R15 tire with 12.2 / 26.7. It looks very nice and obviously I go farther for every revolution of the wheel. What will this do for my RPM? Gearing? In short, what will a change like this do to my car and will it be noticeable?

basically you added close to 5/8 of an inch of tire wall. the 295 is about 1 1/4 of an inch taller than the 265. not really enough to make any noticable difference IMO

you dropped your gearing about 5%......3.23 would now be a 3.07

Assuming your speedo was correct before, at an indicated speed of 60mpb you'll now actually be going 63mph. And your rpms will drop by about 100 at a given speed, ie, if you were turning 2500 to go a given speed before, you'll turn around 2400 now.

Not a huge difference, but it will make a difference on the odometer.

It can drive down the highway at 75 mph now and turn 2800 rpm. Last year without the overdrive and bigger tires I would be 4200 rpm at the same speed.
