changing colors in the interior

One of the plans I have for the new year is to change the color inside the Valiant. It's tan right now but I want to go black (maybe some brushed aluminum). Carpet, seats, dash seem easy enough but what about the other parts? Should I replace? Paint? Ideas?

I've painted interior parts with Dupont vinyl paint (even metal parts) and it works very well. It can be mixed in low, medium, or high gloss. Proper prep is a must, (get parts VERY clean), but it holds up well.

Advance Auto has it, but it's Duplicolor there I think... Seems to be holding up well for me

Oreilly Auto Parts mixes it for me. They sell Dupont paint products.
