You are right on Rusty. I never did a Mopar but have a 454 chevy that way. I loosen the crank bolts a little and do as you stated, easy-peasy. Truck ran for another 5 years before I sold it. I did do the job on my back, but I was a little younger then. Being a truck I have a little extra room to drop the oil pan. On some cars, you may have to raise the motor a little (an extra step).I've done it a few times when customers refused to pay to remove the engine. It's not difficult, but what is difficult is keeping it as clean as you need to. I always used a very small flat blade screwdriver to push the upper half of the bearing out. Once you get it pushed out about 1/2" you can just turn it the rest of the way out with your fingers.
