Not even sure if this is the right forum - but does anyone know if it is possible to just bolt it on? I saw a 72' ish Demon with a fliptop gas cap from what I assume was a Charger/Cuda originally....I missed the chance to ask him how it came to be there. But it looked KILLER! He was headed the other way on a busy road. But I know what I saw, and I liked the look of it alot. It looked like it cam that way from the factory and the car I'm building is a Heinz 57 anyway. It has a 3 hole bolt pattern for the filler neck at the body panel. I looked on-line and the 78/69 Chargers both have a 3 hole flip top. So it looks like an easy project. PS. thanks to all who helped me change the Duster to a small block. Everything went well. Well, after I took the truck pan off and switched to a car pan. LOL Thank you.

Someone made an adapter to put the flip top cap on A bodies other than the 67-69 Barracudas. They show up in the "For Sale" area from time to time.
