Chassis bracing

No experience with it, but I am also curious how it can fit such a variety of wheelbases (106"-111"?) and years, unless "trimming" is required. Would fabricating from scratch be an option? You could save on shipping too.

Torque boxes improvements are not really needed for a-bodies. Maybe a 426-440 in a B or E body would need these. For a A-Body all you really need is a welded in frame connectors like those from US Car Tool. Those also help the doors to open better and prevent rattles.

A 20% improvement would come from the frame connectors tying things together. The torque boxes simply don't do that much on thier own. The kit will need trimming to fit your car so there will be some fabrication to make it all work and fit well.

I'm a little confused by how many model years it appears to cover?

Me too. This is worth a call. I've seen some sources quote the earlier Valiants and Dart wagon at 106.5". Either way it seems to me that there is a one size fits all feature to the kit that isn't evident in the description or they left the * out of the description.

Valiant 63-72 ................108" wb
Demon/Duster/Dart Sport 108" wb
Dart wagon 63-66...........108" wb
Valiant 4 dr. 73-76..........111" wb
Dart (except as noted)....111" wb
Barracuda 64-69.............108" wb

FWIW: Torque boxes were used on the convertible and wagon models to stiffen the body structure. Considering the weight and non-interference with other stuff, if I had 'em, I'd use 'em,

Thanks for the info. Looks like I'll be going with the US Car Tools subframe connectors only.

Let's keep the stat's on wheelbase correct:

Valiant 60-62...........................106.5"

Valiant Wagon 61-62...............106.5"

Lancer 61-62...........................106.5"

Valiant 63-66 ..........................106"

Valiant Wagon 63-66...............106"

Barracuda 64-66......................106"

Valiant 67-72...........................108"

Demon/Duster/Dart Sport........108"

Dart wagon 63-66...................106"

Thanks for the schooling. I've always thought of 108 and 111, but never new the 106.5
