cheap rear end parts?

i have a 742 8 3/4 rear end that needs pretty much everything except the housing & axels

i don't have the best paying job in the world, so, what's a cheap place to get ring & pinion, drums, posi, all that?

and yes i've looked at jegs & summit

Probably be the cheapest to find a used posi center section with the gears you want on Ebay. Just be sure to check it out or have someone familiar with them to check it.

look around in all the junk yards in your area, you may be suprised at what you can find.

you would be suprised where you can find rear ends, 1/2 ton trucks, vans, full size cars, up to the 1973 model year
