John,

I like your new sig pic. Just thought you might like to know that Bob Riggle made his last passes recently in Arizona. The car in your picture has been sold to a private collector - it will run no more. I am not sure what is going to happen to the '65 Cuda Bob also ran from time to time.

Both Maverick and Riggle retired this year. Maverick because of health and Riggle because he chose to. I have gotten to know Bob over the last few years through my car club. You will never meet a nicer, more fun person. In August of '03, a group of us went for a late meal with him after a local cruise and we sat at the Denny's until 2:00 AM talking. He told us some great tales of the early days.

Hopefully I can make a treck out to Phoenix one of these years to see him, as we will miss his trips back here to Ohio.

I had the pleasure of annoying Bob all day at the Mopars at the Strip show this past March. After introducing my wife & myself as big fans of his he graciously endured the antics of Amy & me most of the day.I was video taping his runs for him to review and even have pictures of ME sitting in the car when he was in the pits between rounds. Bob is an absolute class act. I also extensively photographed the car so when I finally get back into building I can do an accurate model of my favorite fish.

It was definitely one of the biggest reasons we took a vacation in Vegas that weekend. I wanted to see him run one more time before he retired.

See, it all started when I was 9 yrs. old and my Dad took me out to the old N.Y.National Speedway track and the very first thing I see is Bob about to make a pass in the H.U.G. That day ruined me for life.......

Thank you Mr. Riggle :thumrigh:

Hey John, did you ever see the Hurst Hairy Olds. make any runs?

71valiant, go to The All E Body Web Board, go to Off Topic, I have a new avatar. I'm 70-A53. Six_Pack on here might have seen it. I can't look at it any more. Mom was right, I will go blind. Thought about a link but maybe I better not. Well I might go look just one more time. Ray

What happened to it??

This was the girl working the power polisher wasn't it?

six pack, it got whacked, it was a keeper. She wasn't using a polisher, more like a milking machine, only no machine. You really missed it. He took it off and has a different one now.
I see on Evilscamp's post that you need a G31 or G32. Wouldn't we all like to have one? Me too. Mine just has a G34. Ray
