Quote In most "stock suspension" classes, leafs are at a serious disadvantage. Aaron's car is a prime example. It runs well, but is very unpredictable. It is on the bumper, or smoking the tires. The "happy" window is very small, with big power and leafsprings.
I've been telling you guys this all along but am constantly getting crap over my stand that high horsepower cars need a four link to be consistent. This is just one of the reasons the Ford and Chevy guys walk all over us. It's time to quit thinking that CalTracs are the answer. You can go faster with a better chassis and less motor (the Fords and Chevys do it) than you can with more motor and a mediocre chassis.
