I dunno you lost me it says its a hemi clone. It just says hemi motor it makes no reference to a 426 anywhere.
 
Hmmm Looks like a hemi to me, But it does say hemi clone, and that sure is not a numbers or even year matching engine.

Technically the seller isn't lying!
It doesn't specify what size Hemi it is and it does say in his ad Hemi clone.
If someone does want to buy the car i just hope they are smart enough to ask him what size Hemi it is!
I'm no a Hemi expert but it looks to me like a 354 or a 331,maybe someone else on the board will know what size it is.
 
no the new Hemi crates are based of the 426 Hemi, this one is clearly an early Hemi from the 50s, just by seeing the valve covers alone. In a way he is lying because a Hemi clone would have a 60s 426 Hemi, not a 50s Hemi
 
When I said new hemi crate I meant the 5.7 thats they are putting into productioin vehicles. But I see your point and its prolly not that either.
