I am putting this on here hoping to catch the eye of some Chicago area Mopar enthusiasts who might be looking for a rebuildable 340, 727 trans, wheels, or a bunch of '65 Barracuda parts.
'68 340, cylinders have only been honed so first oversize is still available, original forged crank .010 under, Direct Connection street hemi grind cam with Crane lifters, double roller timing chain, high volume oil pump, everything else stock--no head work. Built in 1975, last run in 2015, so you would want to go through it completely. Stock cast iron 4-barrel manifold and Holley 700 double pumper are there, but not mounted on engine.
Trans is stock except for shift kit, probably 25,000 miles.
'65 Barracuda parts include red front and rear seats in good condition (black carpet on back of rear seat), fold-down trunk panel in good condition (black carpet), front suspension and K-frame, 4-row radiator spliced into stock top tank, chrome wheel arch moldings, headlight bezels (right one damaged), heater/defroster assembly, ventilation air boxes, misc other parts.
Also four 14 inch Centerline Auto Drag wheels with 4-inch bolt pattern.
