Well! After an hour of grinding, sanding, polishing and an hour in the freezer I finally got my made in China replacement dip stick tube to fit. I now have these chinese calipers for sale for anyone planning on ordering made in china parts. Be sure to pre measure with this precision tool before ordering. I seriously think they forged my part with a rock.
