im building a hot 318..10.5/1 i have a 904 im going to keep...

the good guys is coming to my area this weekend and i want to pick up a distrbiuter...what should i go with this is my first motor build...i hear i need a mechanical advance since im useing an automatic not running power brakes...what should i be looking for??or better yet what the best bang for my buck..

also im a little confused on what ignition to use..msd box 6a or what else..im a bit lost in this department...thanks fabo
 
if you use the msd box, you should use the msd dizzy too. pretty painless. i just bought my msd 6al box with rev. limiter and and dizzy and hooked it up pretty quick.
 
Use any magnetic pickup distrubtor you can find and curve properly.

Any of the MP (even stock electronic), skip white, whatever. Just have to learn how to curve whichever you acquire

The MSD's are nice too, just expensive.
