I know it's another brand and is different, but can you tell me/us why the things are different that are??

things i noted different about this kit from the transgo:
they have a bal lthat goes in with the 1-2 shift control valve
they have 2 holes in the separator plate that get drilled to 1/8, in addition to the same 3/16 holes
the pressure regulator adjustment is way different
there is no line pressure limit spring change
there is a replacement 1-2 governor valve for 2-1 shifts at any speed, but no plate like the transgo....what's special about their valve?
i just wanated an explanation of the different ways these 2 kits change the characteristics
