Chrome 1970 340 Valve Covers....Hustle Stuff Direct Connection or Factory?

-
I had a lot of 340 covers over the years including Direct connection. I have never see them with the 340 wire loom brackets. I would say they are Hustle Stuff. Or someone had 340 covers chromed. Also the Direct Connections were the tall style in the center of the cover.

I thought the DC versions had part number stamps.

Found a pair at swap meet...thanks for the knowledgeable research...

Nice ! I have 2 sets . 1 on my W2 Swinger . Period correct and as good as stock as far as Im concerned .

I found these and quickly snapped them up. I needed a taller valve cover to clear the Jesel rockers on my W2 build.

Here are pictures of some from years ago that I still have with the wire holders on. They were a purchase from Direct Connection in the late 70's The sets made in the 80's did not have the holders on them. I also had a set for early pre 70 in chrome but they had holders like a 273

I find this crank information very interesting.
Also take note of the “Special Bearing” to allow a 340 crank into a 360 block.

I went by way of Bill Richardsons bearing spacers to get this done.

For reference, what is the part number on them ?
The driver's side is stamped 412FM44 and the other is 409FM29. There is a number on one of the baffles 385EM14

The original Direct Connection number for the kit is P4529003, which replaces P4120608 & P4349632
