Chrysler Aluminum Manifold 4100337

-
From looking at the Chrysler parts catalogs, intake manifolds starting with 4100--- were only used in 1979.
Intake casting numbers and catalog part numbers are usually different by one digit.
Casting number 4100337 has a catalog part number 4100338. The 1979 Chrysler parts catalog shows only one 4 barrel manifold for all vehicles 4100338.
Direct connection numbers usually start with a P.
Don't see that number with or without P in any of the Direct Connection catalogs.
None of the part numbers shown in the link from post #23 are good numbers.
They are not in Chrysler's part number history.
Did Direct Connection parts sart with a P as well ? I know Mopar Performance did but can’t remember if DC did . ?
I might have an old DC catalog

The price list that came with the 1977 Direct Connection catalog showed all part numbers started with P.

@Bighead440 is good with oddball stuff. How bout it, Rodney? You know what this intake is?

Found the 4100338 part number in 1978-81 Truck Parts manual. I said "maybe" was 4100336 BUT this manual looks correct, #338 (on page 2). See post #24.
I said I had a 1979 Grand Fury too. Nope, I had a 1980 GF with E58. Slow car. Later platform- was M body. Had one of those pursuit vehicles too,1988 Diplomat, was much faster. Why aluminum manifold? Chrysler was in turmoil then (1979-1980) and eliminated the RB engines (for cars), so had big cars and small engines. Read - Slow Vehicle. They were trying improve performance, for cop car wise or Lil Red Truck, with this manifold, IMHO. Last LRT built, that I know of, May 1980.
I don't know that I attached the file correctly.
