the weather here in southeast ks has been quite nasty the last few days and the work im currently doin i prefer to do in the drive instead of my garage, but i fired up the old plamsa cutter and got some mounts cut out, i will hopefully have them in within the next few days so i can move forward

Get it on!A friend had a worked stockie in the 90s.Ran good, handling crazy. These cars were heavy ,needed more torque. If I wasn't in Cali, this is exactly what I would do.

That's going to be awesome. I've always liked those cars and the Starion twin. They remind me a lot of an '82-85 Supra.

How long do you think the rear-end will last?

it should hold up nicely if i dont shock it too hard, the 88-89s were upgraded to a 6bolt axle they are quite tough

My dad bought a red Tsi new back in '87 or '88. The yellow ones are pretty damn rare! I love it!!!

Im with Tyler, these were about the best looking of the lot when they came out. First thing I said was "exhaust problems" but looks like you got them licked! Subscribed...

I have thought about a 340 in a Conquest so many times. Decided it was too much work. BADASSERY!

Very cool.. I have a mag with Part 1 of this conversion, cutting for fitment, but never got the Part 2.

Since these cars are not avail. here, we dont see them. However, my bro has two, and his minty body "parts car" Starion is sitting in my backyard as I write this.. hmmm

Following this project for sure..

Grant

I like it! The first thing I thought of when I saw this one the other day was V-8 swap!
