Think this is year 26 for us. They didn’t have separate classes for cars. They had a spray mist tent for you to walk through To cool off. Anybody remember that stuff ? Love the place.

I remember that! Been going since 1990 when you were lucky to have 10 cars in a class. Also do burnout contest out in the open, like I use to do with my 68 I had.

Was there today. Normal crowd as far as vendors on a Thursday.
Hotter than the hinges of hell!
90/10 on face masks. Most people aren't wearing them. In that heat you'd die re-breathing your own heated air.
It's not good for a car what makes anyone think it's good for the body.
Foot traffic was down for a Thursday. We'll see what Friday brings and of course Saturday.
 
Yes, a slow start this morning. Looking much better second half of the day. Most of the usual players. Quite a bit of A body stuff here. Hope all who planned to can make it out...M15...Swingn’
 
Heading out early am. On the hunt for an LD340. Intake an a few other vintage items for my Dart.
 
I was there on Friday for about 4 hours. Got there at 7AM and left about 1130. The placed was crowded, not as in the past, and there were plenty of vendors. I saw a B engine for $50. I did score my E body, 71 Cuda "specialty car" in the barracuda line up, a Shaker Hood from Stephens performance. I saw a lot of his AMD inventory going at a brisk rate. Hopefully it sends a message to AMD that the Mopar repro program needs to be continued. I know of 2 shaker hoods being sold, mine included, and windshield, bumpers, floors and etc. going out the door. I hope it was profitable for Stephens because they had a lot of inventory. I saw a pile of heater units, maybe 8-10 being sold for $150. I guess guys are trying to rid themselves of inventory. I was looking for A body console but didn't succeed. All in all it was worth the 250 mile trip but the storm coming home to New York took 6 hours due to the terrible rain storm I encountered and the several accidents, including 1 new Camaro that spun out and wound up in a ditch. Also at 7 AM a lot of vendors hadn't opened that early. I guess too much partying nite before.
 
Winner winner chicken dinner! I think it may have been the only one there. Bunch of LD4B’s but only 1 LD340. Drove out Fri by my self to hunt parts. Took my boys out today, 16 and 18. Best quote of the day. 16 yr old says “if you are looking for rusty valve covers that have been in a corn field for 50 years this is the place to be” I laughed out loud. Lots of laughs. Stuffed my 6’3” 18 yr old into the Slingshot Rail by the bathrooms. Human oragami!

The slingshot by the bathrooms was me haha, well my friends spaces but my Dart was there too

had a great time and picked up a few more pieces I need to button up the Dart

Wonderful weekend
Unbelievable weather
Sold a ton
Almost shocked about the activity all 4 days
Met many old friends and several new ones
Brandon my son and I really had a nice 5 day getaway
Can’t wait until next year

You looked very busy Eddie. My son and I walked by 4 or 5 time's between Friday and Saturday. You were dep in convo everytime we passed. Didn't want to interupt you, so we kept moving..
Overall, to me, Friday was light. Quite a few empty vendor spaces all weekend.
Saturday felt like a typical Friday crowd, people and show car wise.
A LOT of vendors packing up early Saturday afternoon.
Weather was just about perfect for July and although crowds were down, it was a great weekend.

I had my second best Carlisle ever
I was a little shocked at the buying activity Friday and Saturday
With covid and the weather forecast which turned out to be wrong
The guys that were there were serious
Buyers
Already thinking about next year

I really enjoyed Carlisle this year. It was my 20th time. Was there both Fri & Sat. Scored everything that was on my list plus some extras. The Carlisle people had their act together. There was no way that health dept. could find fault with them. Never let a bad weather forecast or negative predictions prevent you from doing what you want. Weather turned out to be fine and there was no BS from government agencies. I even got my picture in somebody's Youtube posting. Next year will be great.
 
Did anyone get a pic of my car in the show field? I need one for the car club newsletter. 71 dart white with black top 4 door/big block
 
We had such a great time again. So glad we ignored all the BS and towed the car up. We at FABO need to get our shot together and do a tent........
I'm down for helping anyway I can. I'll be there the whole time next year.
