Cleaning & Maint. on Wood Steering Wheel

Murphy's Oil Soap is great for cleaning wood.Been using it on hard wood floors for years.After cleaning and complete drying.I like to use Tongue oil and work it into the wood with a cloth removing all excess.Tongue oil comes in gloss or satin finish.
 
Thanks Darter, would it leave a slippery finish at all?

I bought that wheel somewhere a few years ago for like $80, you may want to shop around and see if you can find a better deal somewhere. may have been E-bay, I really don't remember.
