I see guys on TV shows that use paint spray guns to spray contact cement when they are doing interior work. I am curious on how they could possibly clean those guns out?

I used a purple HF gun opened to 1.8 to spray the cement when I made my door panels a couple months ago. It worked great and the gun cleaned up fine with acetone and an assortment of small brushes. The upholstery guy around the corner just leaves his gun full and cleans the tip periodically. It's got a pretty large tip though.

What you want is a "critter" gun. These are as simple as they get but spray amazing and clean up is simple. Yep, thats a regular mason jar on it. CRITTER SPRAY GUN
For adhesive I recommend weldwood contact adhesive.
