I designed and cast several side draft intakes for other inline engines. 40mm carbs would be a better option for a mildly modified street engine. Also, billet carb bodies used as air valves work good for EFI conversions.

I have a Weber setup going together now. The Clifford intake has a unique throttle system. Here is a picture of the common rod needed to make it work. You can see it and the two rod end bearings it rides in. It's just one of the parts you need. I can post some more pictures for you later. I am using 45 DCOE Italian Webers. It's a sexy system, but most sexy things are expen$ive.

Theres a gentlemen on salnsix.org that runs 6 individual motorcycle carbs on his slant six. He is not using a clifford manifold though.
It wasn't an article just one of the members i remember crossing paths with. He had the motor in an old 50's chrysler. Ill do some digging and see if I can find a username for you.I’m looking for the article but can’t find it. Do you know when it was published?
Holy moly!!!!Here you go. His username is Fopar and it looks like he is still active. Maybe try messaging him and picking his brains?

First off welcome to the slant sickness! Call Clifford performance and just ask the owner he is a great guy and will talk you through what ever you need to know! the next option is Aussie... WOW mega high priced but super good stuff! This is all my opinion though!Good evening fam! I fell in love with the slant 6 and what it has to offer. I just picked up a rebuilt 904 and a tri pac manifold. NOS.
I seen the Weber 45 Dcoe is the premier choice. Are there any alternatives.
Also, do I have to use a drill press in order to make holes to mount the carbs!
I’m a newbie to the slants! Any help and guidance will be highly appreciated.

This one is a lynx manifold...Hey John, is that a "CAIN" system? Always wondered who Cain was...
