clutch fork tension spring

ok I have the tti z bar but there is no where to attach the fork tension spring so where is everyone attaching it. 72 dart swinger

My bellhousing has a notch in it the spring fits into just like the photo @Dave69 posted. Look at where the bell meets the block and you'll see it. Put the long hooked end in that slot, the other one in the notch on the fork.

Also, FWIW my TTI Z-bar had a weld on the engine side arm for the fork pushrod that had to be ground a little bit because it rubbed on the starter. I looked but found no photos showing either my spring or the Z-bar/starter conjunction
 
That's because though every application is the same, everyone is different. There's a lot going on there in little ways. If you read through all threads, all, you will understand the scope of it all. My scattershield falls outside the norm, same thing, it's the same, but it's different. Do what you have to do.
